Surya Charitable Trust is committed to the holistic upliftment of underdeveloped communities through integrated development programs that address the basic needs of life—education, healthcare, sanitation, infrastructure, employment, and dignity. Our community development model focuses on empowering people at the grassroots to build resilient and self-sufficient communities.
We work in scollaboration with the DLF Foundation and similar institutions to design and implement high-impact interventions. These include building learning centers in slums, improving rural health infrastructure, offering skill development and entrepreneurship training for youth and women, constructing community toilets, and promoting environmentally sustainable practices. DLF Foundation’s vision of sustainable ecosystem creation complements SCT’s belief in long-term, people-led transformation.
Our approach is participatory and inclusive, ensuring that the voice of the community is central to every initiative. From rural hamlets to urban slums, SCT’s programs aim to foster a sense of belonging, dignity, and opportunity for every individual we serve.

Our concept is "What we can give to the world is the most important than what we have received from the world." As I came from a middle-class family, I witness that there are some poor children, old aged people, illiterate girls, widows and under poverty line, who really stand in need of liberation from the clutches of Poverty, illiteracy and in equality. I came from a rural background and was the victim of these vulnerable and pathetic situation of poverty in my childhood. Basing on my own struggled for existence I experience the depth of poverty in the society. My ambition is to render service to the unreached people those who are living under poverty line. So, I started my journey with SURYA CHARITABLE TRUST to serve the people those who are in need.
As we welcome you, the future leaders and productive citizens of the world, I would like to stress on our mission statement of grooming young minds and hearts as the pillar of advancement of a nation and hope of the future.
I am a simple man with very humble beginnings. As a family, we have always led a life of struggle, till each of us could stand on our own feet and fend for ourselves. Being well educated, we are fortunate that our journey has reached a point where we need not struggle for basic necessities anymore. But not everyone is so fortunate.
