Surya Charitable Trust (SCT) is deeply committed to empowering individuals with disabilities through comprehensive support systems that promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion. Our multifaceted approach encompasses assistive technology, inclusive education, vocational training, and strategic partnerships with leading organizations in the disability sector.

In collaboration with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, SCT facilitates access to barrier-free residential schools that provide free tuition, accommodation, and study support. These institutions are equipped with accessible infrastructure and offer study materials in digital formats, ensuring that students with disabilities receive holistic education . Additionally, Samarthanam's initiatives extend to vocational training programs, such as BPO training units, which equip individuals with disabilities with market-relevant skills, enhancing their employability .

Our partnership with EnAble India further strengthens our commitment to disability support. EnAble India operates across 1,050 locations in 28 states, working with 229 partner organizations to provide services to individuals with 19 different disabilities . Their programs include career counseling, job opportunities, training, and support for self-employment and entrepreneurship, aiming to foster economic independence and dignity for persons with disabilities.

Our concept is "What we can give to the world is the most important than what we have received from the world." As I came from a middle-class family, I witness that there are some poor children, old aged people, illiterate girls, widows and under poverty line, who really stand in need of liberation from the clutches of Poverty, illiteracy and in equality. I came from a rural background and was the victim of these vulnerable and pathetic situation of poverty in my childhood. Basing on my own struggled for existence I experience the depth of poverty in the society. My ambition is to render service to the unreached people those who are living under poverty line. So, I started my journey with SURYA CHARITABLE TRUST to serve the people those who are in need.

As we welcome you, the future leaders and productive citizens of the world, I would like to stress on our mission statement of grooming young minds and hearts as the pillar of advancement of a nation and hope of the future.

I am a simple man with very humble beginnings. As a family, we have always led a life of struggle, till each of us could stand on our own feet and fend for ourselves. Being well educated, we are fortunate that our journey has reached a point where we need not struggle for basic necessities anymore. But not everyone is so fortunate.
